Shedden Uhde undertook the detail design of a number of pre-assembled modules (PAMs) which were shipped by barge for the G3 expansion of Alcan’s Gove alumina refinery. The project involved over 60,000 manhours of detail design for process and piperack PAMs weighing up to ,500 tonnes
The design work was undertaken in Shedden Uhde’s Map Ta Phut (Thailand) office. Fabrication of the modules, under a parallel contract, was by Clough Thailand.
