Multi-disciplinary engineering and design, is a core element of many Uhde Shedden projects. We are well experienced in performing all aspects of engineering, from studies to detail design, and our systems, procedures and personnel are very flexible to deal with all engineering tasks efficiently and effectively. We have a well-earned reputation for excellence and innovation in engineering design in all disciplines and is considered to be employer of choice for engineering personnel.
Engineering extends beyond the design office. Our experience shows that our engineers can make valuable contributions during construction and commissioning. It is Uhde Shedden practice to assign key design personnel to site for these phases of a project to ensure that design intent is implemented during plant construction, start-up and operation.
Uhde Shedden has a comprehensive suite of engineering and design software for all disciplines which is supported by a computerised library of standard specifications, data sheets and drawings, for all disciplines, covering all commonly used equipment and materials and their installation.
All design work is performed using 3D CADD design software (PDMS), which has been customized over many years to be among the most highly developed in the region, achieving significant efficiencies, and accuracy enhancements.
