Shell Refining Australia Pty Ltd (Geelong Refinery) have recently awarded Shedden Uhde Australia a suite of FED 1 Studies. Shell Geelong completed a detailed review of the business – called Business Improvement Review (BIR) and at the conclusion, agreed to pursue a number of margin improvement related projects.
This is a significant win for Shedden Uhde as the client typically utilises their own internal resources to complete these scouting/appraisal studies. The client team have recognised Shedden Uhde's high degree of process design development expertise and we look forward to working with them to further develop these project opportunities.
The Projects will be managed by David Broughton, who will initially be supported technically by Richard O'Beirne, George Nikitin, Tim Ngo and Ron Yan. As the team progress through the early stages of Project development, additional personnel from all disciplines will join the team.
Our initial scope of work also includes capital cost estimating and planning and it is intended that the first phase of the Projects progress through to December 2007.
