Project: TOL Methyl Ester and Fatty Alcohol ISBL

The project encompasses the design, procurement and construction on a single site of a Methyl Ester (Biodiesel) plant and a Fatty Alcohol plant for subsidiary companies of PTT Chem. The project had a combined value of over 100 million USD and is the largest Biodiesel plant to be built in Thailand.

The project was carried out in conjunction with Uhde GmBH and Uhde India Limited who were responsible for the offshore supply contract and the detailed design of the Fatty Alcohol project.

Shedden Uhde Thailand Limited was responsible for the onshore EPC construction contract of both plants as well as for the detailed design and procurement of the Methyl Ester plant. Interface management was required between multiple technology providers and engineering contractors.
