Project: Urea Granulation Plant

The project involves the installation of a new urea granulation plant and evaporation unit together with modifications within the existing urea synthesis unit. The plant was designed and constructed on a lump-sum turnkey basis by Shedden Uhde together with its parent company Krupp Uhde and the process licensors.
The granulation plant includes a fluid bed granulator, product screening, coarse product crushing, fluidised bed cooling, product elevators, product conveyors, air blowers, air heaters and waste gas scrubber. The project included all associated utilities, fire protection, controls and electrical distribution as well as buildings, foundations and drainage.
